The sample consists of about twenty high quality drawings on Iberian and Phoenician civilizations.
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday from 9-22 pm, was opened by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, the Councillor for Culture, Maria Celeste Soria, and the artist himself.
Maria Celeste Soria said that "this show is important for two reasons. Firstly because it is the first exhibition at the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón after its inauguration. And secondly, because it will coincide with the celebration of the International Congress on our boat Phoenician to be held in the same place, with the wreck of Mazarrón protagonist of some excellent drawings made Juan Navarro ".
For his part, the artist said his work "is framed within a didactic line that were possibly pretend to teach you how to trade and social exchanges that occurred off the coast of Mazarrón between Iberian and Phoenician civilizations".
The museum of 'The Cigarralejo' Navarro has served to create drawings on Iberia, while the Phoenician Ship Mazarrón has been the inspiration for the symbol of Phoenicia.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, Juan Navarro congratulated "for the high quality of the work presented in this sample" and was particularly pleased that "has been a Mazarron which inaugurated this exhibition hall."
The mayor would also note that "the sample completed an exciting conference on our Phoenician boat, being these initiatives example of our commitment to value our archaeological heritage. A revaluation had suffered a break since it opened the 'Factory Salting Romana 'and that the City Council have recovered so brave and determined ".
