On Friday, November 8 was held in the town of Yecla II Murciano Athletics Gala hosted by the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (FAMU).
During the meeting, several athletes, clubs, coaches and other individuals and institutions were recognized for their work in this gala, basing most of their distinctions in the achievements during the season 2012/13.
Among the winners was found Belhaki athlete Ismael Rivas Mazarron, Mazarron Athletics Club member who has made significant achievements this season.
Specifically, Belhaki has been four times regional champion cadet tests 60 and 300-meter dash in indoor track and those of 100 and 300 meter dash outdoors.
It also holds the Regional Cadet Record at 300 meter dash.
But Belhaki achievements are not confined to the Region of Murcia, but the athlete also excelled in national sporting events becoming double bronze medalist.
One of these medals he got it in the Championship of Spain Autonomous Teams Cadet at 300 meter dash, and the other in the Championship of Spain Cadet Outdoor also at 300 meter dash.
In addition, the Mazarron has been this season 4th in the Championship of Spain Autonomous Teams Cadet in 4x100 meter sprint test, 5th in the Championship of Spain Indoor Cadet at 60 meters and a finalist in the Cadet Championship Spain Indoor Track at 300 meter dash, one of the most promising of the sport in our region.
Within the merits is to review that was also selected by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation for the National Sports Modernization Program, held in Soria, in the month of July.
Ismael, was honored twice in that Gala, on the one hand by the medals won championships in Spain and on the other by the Regional Cadet Record 300 meter sprint achieved in Granollers (Barcelona).
During the Gala, was wrapped by the Councillor for Sports, Andrew James Hernandez, who traveled to Yecla, along with managers, coaches, teammates and family, to enjoy with the athlete of such an important day in his sporting career.
