The City of Mazarrón has recovered for the month of December, his painting contest outdoors 'Landscapes of Mazarrón', after several years in which they had left to convene this meeting with the art.
This was released today by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, who was joined in his presentation by painter Javier Lorente, who was one of the winners of this event which this year held its eleventh edition.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, explained that "the XI National Contest of Painting outdoors 'Landscapes of Mazarrón - Memorial Domingo Valdivieso' will be held on Sunday, December 1 and will be divided into two major awards categories. On the one hand may participate any citizen over 16 who wants it, opting for the first prize 'Villa de Mazarrón 2.500 euros ".
There will also be a second prize of 1,500 euros, a third of 1,000 and a special prize for the best watercolor worth 600 euros.
The mayor also announced that "also eligible children 9-15 years, who are eligible for a painter to get a briefcase valued at $ 100 as first prize, plus seen a second and third prize consisting painting articles rated at 60 and 20 euros respectively. "
Participants can attend the event are resident or not in the national territory, provided that his work revolves around the theme of landscapes of the municipality.
From 8-11 pm, those interested can seal their blank canvases at the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón, where they will have to re-take, once their work from 16 hours.
There will be exposed for a jury to review and decide which are the awards this year will be announced that afternoon.
