Mazarrón Town Council and the Guild of Handicrafts of the Region of Murcia have signed a collaboration agreement for the development and promotion of handicrafts within the municipality.
The agreement was signed yesterday the plasmaron Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the president of that union, José María Gómez, in the presence of Councillor of Commerce, David Fernandez, and the president of the newly formed association of craftsmen of the town ' Mazarrón Art ', Antonia Segura.
As Fernandez said, "With the signing of this agreement, we promote in Mazarrón crafts activities as a form of self-employment and economic activity in the municipality."
For the mayor, "Mazarrón offers very good features to promote own crafts and fortunately we have a number of artisans in the village who have long devoted to various crafts."
The agreement provides for the holding of a monthly craft market in the city, as well as conducting various workshops and courses that develop the Regional Craft Guild and "Art Mazarrón 'with the collaboration of the Department of Commerce of the consistory.
Also conducted exhibitions come from the hands of artisans guild Murcia who debuted in the town last month with the shows 'third anniversary Salzillo, Murciano Universal'.
