Mazarrón Town Council has signed six cooperation agreements aimed at developing projects that improve the lives of people at risk of social exclusion and the largest in the county.
Specifically, have signed agreements with Caritas Parish of Mazarrón, Parish Caritas Puerto de Mazarrón, ASPADEM, with Difference and Making Association, the New Course and the Association of Pensioners Club of Mazarrón.
In the case of cooperation agreements with two parish agencies Caritas, the session gives the amount of 2,500 euros each for the purchase of food and other necessities in the local municipality to be distributed between those who are experiencing difficulties, before the economic crisis.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, was responsible for signing both agreements also signed the pastor Julio Romero, president of Caritas Parish of Mazarrón, and the pastor Justo José Sánchez, president of Caritas Parish of Puerto de Mazarrón.
With ASPADEM the purpose of the agreement is for the development of activities related to the maintenance of the pool facilities are set aside 10,000 euros activities, and to develop activities to help people at risk of social exclusion have signed agreements with Making Difference and the Association and the New Direction Partnership, to which they have been allocated 2,500 euros respectively.
The mayor highlighted the "excellent work that these organizations are developing in the town to help our neighbors, and deserve our recognition and support by the municipality in order to maintain these social policies that we as necessary".
Ginés Campillo also signed by Juan Perez, president of the Pensioners Club of Mazarrón, an agreement which is endowed with 5,000 euros this group to develop various activities of cultural, sports and physical character in the center.
The Mayor welcomed "the many activities that this association organizes and positive impact on the greatest of our town and it is also important that they have our support is that of all the people."
