Mazarrón Town Council and the cycling team 'PinoRoad SL' have signed a collaboration agreement whereby the town will become the logistics base in Europe of that sports complex.
This was announced yesterday by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, sporting director 'PinoRoad' Jesus Buendía, and the president of the Cycling Federation of the Region of Murcia (FCRM), José López Tortosa.
The event was also attended Salvador Guardiola, Murcia rider belonging to this team.
They also presented the jersey of the Chilean team, to be installed in Mazarrón from March to September, which sports the logo 'Mazarrón Bay' with the image of Phoenician boat.
With the support of the Department of Sports for the team to train in Mazarrón, the corporate image will travel through various countries in South America and Europe.
Jesús Buendía thanked "the efforts of the City to support this professional cycling team and we have found the ideal Mazarrón site for our base, for its excellent climate and different terrains where train."
Thus, the twenty components 'PinoRaod SL' established residence in several houses of Puerto de Mazarrón for 7 months the team will face its debut in the European calendar, with evidence both in Spain and in Portugal.
