The Department of Employment, Training and Local Development invites entrepreneurs hospitality industry, with activity bar and café, an informational meeting on Monday, January 20th at 12 noon, to be held in the boardroom Mayoral.
During the meeting the training needs that affect the sector, as well as proposals for the training to be undertaken by the City Council and aimed at employers in the hospitality of the town performances will be discussed.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, calls on employers to attend the event because "we must all agree on what the training activities that interest us undertake so that we can strengthen the tourism sector, providing professionals are prepared to meet the challenges and requirements imposed on us by the changes in this important employment generation sector with the premise achieving quality tourism ".
Within this training online, the Local Employment Centre as part of the Center for Municipal Employment Initiatives (CIME) located in the old building of People's University Avenue in the Constitution of Mazarrón, continues to promote training among its users in various scheduled areas and there are several totally free courses to those interested can sign up.
The course 'Introduction to Computers and the Internet' is aimed at those who lack knowledge in this area and want to upgrade acquiring basic life with agility with digital media skills.
Thanks to this course, they will achieve learning to use email, create, process, store and transmit information, surf the Internet, acquire general knowledge of the Windows operating system, use the Internet for job search, make online courses, including possibilities.
The course is 35 hours over 2 weeks.
There are also scheduled a course for unemployed people with low skills in the English language entitled 'English Level 1'.
Participants will acquire the basics of the language and know the most mundane and common expressions, allowing a certain ease in different situations.
The course is 50 hours spread over 3 weeks.
In addition, the workshop 'Internet for Job Search' help stakeholders to look for a job via this route, be aware of the strong influence of the Information Technology and Communication in this regard.
Participants will learn how to send a resume via the Internet and look for a job or company that you are interested to contact her without leaving home.
The workshop duration is approximately 8 hours.
Councillor for Employment, Training and Local Development, Matilde Blázquez, encouraged "to anyone who is unemployed and wish to further their training in these areas to contact the Local Employment Centre and perform the registration at the course that best suits your needs. "
The mayor pointed out that "more training, greater opportunity to find a job, especially in these times when there is high demand and competition."
