Pepa's garden 'La Galla' in the popular district of San Isidro de Mazarron hosted, once again and as is tradition, the blessing of animals on the occasion of the feast of San Anton.
About 200 people, mostly children, attended with their pets to the gates of the shrine of the saint where the parish priest of San Jose Justo José Sánchez, explained the reason for this celebration and then sprinkle with holy water the animals.
Among the pets that attended the event a large number of dogs of the different races, as well as cats, birds, turtles and even Vietnamese pigs this year especially caught the attention of the faithful had.
In addition, women in the Neighborhood Association San Isidro distributed free of charge to attendees traditional anise rolls made with great affection every year to honor the saint in this celebration.
