On Saturday January 18 was held at the municipal sports hall 'La Acefia' Regional Championship Junior Tae Kwon-Do in the team 'Martial Arts' Cartagena climbed to the top of the podium during delivery trophies and medals.
The second place on the podium was occupied by the 'Gym Vera', while the third place went to the 'Club Koryo' Torre Pacheco.
The trophies and medals was given by the president of the Federation of Tae Kwon-Do in the Region of Murcia, Antonio Solano, and Councilman Sports City of Mazarrón, Andrew James.
Solano appreciated the work of the City of Mazarrón and Tae Kwon-Do Club Mazarrón handing a plaque, while the club did the same Mazarron Murcia Federation and with the 'Club Koryo' handing a trophy representing the Phoenician Ship of Mazarrón.
In regard to local athletes, representatives of Tae Kwon-Do Club Mazarrón got three gold medals.
Specifically, women's -63 kg category was first Carmona Marina Moreno, Rubén García Ortiz also won gold in -51 kg and the same metal neck hung Antonio Méndez Acosta in the form of -73 kilograms.
In the afternoon also held in the said sports hall the 2nd round of the Little League Combat participating Mazarron athletes Juan Mayorga, Rodrigo Mayorga, Julian Henares, David Gea, Celia Henares, Rafael Navarro, Antonio Méndez and José Luis Morales .
