The area of ​​the pristine beaches of Mazarrón yesterday welcomed the conclusion of the First Cross-Trail 'Calas de Bolnuevo' which was attended by nearly 300 athletes who, at the end of the test, were excited about the beauty of the journey that led them to cover a distance of 21 kilometers from the Esplanade Erosions Bolnuevo, where the start and finish of the test stood and Percheles.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, Councillor for Sports, Andrew James, and President of the Sports Club 'Mazarrón Bay', Pedro Lorite were responsible for presenting the trophies to the winners in each category once the race is finished, which has been a success for the new sports village.
Overall in the men's category Juanjo Larrotcha led with a time of 1 hour, 21 minutes and 20 seconds across the line in first place followed by Luis Alfonso Gudino and Yeray Rodriguez, second and third respectively in the overall standings.
In females, the first to reach the goal was María del Mar Alonso who covered the 21 km route in a time of 1 hour, 44 minutes and 26 seconds.
Accompanying Alonso on the podium, Esther Sanchez, who was second, and Celeste Zarate, third overall.
The winners of the race were rewarded a ham, the latter a basket with wine and cheese and the third a basket with wine and olive oil.
In Senior category, male podium was occupied Yeray Rodriguez (1) Arthur Brocate (2nd) and Javier Lopez (3rd), while in females the winner was Celeste Zarate, followed by Sebas Rabal, second and best female athlete local and Iria Vidal was the third Reviewer.
On Veterans 'A', the first to cross the finish line was the absolute champion Juanjo Larrotcha.
Luis Alfonso Gudino and Carlos de la Torre, were second and third respectively.
On Veterans 'A', María del Mar Alonso beat Esther Sanchez (2nd) and José María Roca (3rd).
On Veterans 'B', the winner of the category was José Miguel Selles, while Antonio Zamora and Fernando Morales were second and third.
Lola Garrido was the champion of Veterans 'A' who took the podium with Andrea Picazo (2nd) and Juana Mesa (3rd).
