The Department of Culture of the City of Mazarrón has convened a year contest poetry and love letters 'statements like', which celebrates its third edition for students of secondary and high schools of the municipality and the second edition intended for adults registered in Mazarrón.
The councilor of the area, Maria Celeste Soria, recalled that "this event, which annually increases its participation falls within the activities to promote and encourage reading we conducted since the municipal libraries."
In regard to the third edition 'Declare "for schoolchildren, students enrolled in secondary and high schools in different centers of the municipality may participate. Under the theme of love, interested parties may submit their work (letter or poem) to be be original, unpublished and not awarded in any other contest. They have a maximum length of one page on one side, preferably computer (Times New Roman, font 12).
The works will be delivered in an envelope folio closed which should put out the username and title of the poem.
The envelope will contain one envelope with the student's personal data such as name, ID, course, group and center.
Entries may be delivered to the Spanish language teachers in each school until 12 February.
One first prize of an iPad Mini and diploma, a second compound of a smartphone and diploma and a third consisting of a voucher for sports store worth 50 euros and diploma: 3 Awards in this category are considered.
In regards to the second edition aimed at adults, all registered persons over age may participate in the town of Mazarrón with one work.
The work will be unpublished, in Castilian, original author and no pending or awarded in other contests.
The work, led by a title, will be no longer required Folio 1 Arial size 12.
In this category, and new this year, the letter or poem may be submitted in writing or in video format, not exceeding this maximum 3 minutes.
Works must be sent exclusively by e-mail to: biblioteca@mazarron.es.
Along with working file with the author's personal data (name, full address, date of birth and phone number) will be attached.
The original deadline for end on February 12, 2014 at 12 pm.
Out of that deadline no work is permitted.
In this case 3 prizes are also contemplated.
For the winner there will be a dinner with two person spa and diploma for the runner a photo book for two and diploma and finally for the third dinner for two at a restaurant of Mazarrón and diploma worth 50 euros.
The jury, composed of members from the Department of Culture, will be released on February 14 through the municipal website www.mazarron.es.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, has encouraged citizens and young people "to take his literary vein to qualify for one of the fabulous prizes contemplated this year, actively participating in this literary activity, and promote the development of Reading also promotes artistic creation. "
