This past Saturday was played in San Javier Regional Championship Winter Athletics Junior category, getting Athletics Club Mazarrón seven medals distributed as follows: Ismael Belhaki Rivas, two golds and regional champion in 60 and 200 meter dash, Jaime Sleeps García, gold in the high jump and bronze in 60-meter hurdles; Valls Sara Meseguer, silver in 60 and 200 meter dash and the last medal was a silver Raja Jaime Aparicio, who was regional runner-up in shot put.
Other results of the competition were seventh Ernesto García Segura in the long jump and fourth in the shot put Valls.
The metal was achieved eighth in Sunday's Individual Cross Regional Championship, played at the beautiful setting of the Fuentes del Marqués (Caravaca de la Cruz), where the youngest Marta Navarro Caballero scored a well deserved bronze medal.
Other results of the VII Conference of the Regional League and Regional Championships Individual Cross were: Alejandro Navarro Rodríguez, sixth in junior Mustapha Maarouf, thirteen cadets, and Thomas Zamora Ballesta, eighteenth in children.
With this competition the cross was finalized in regard to regional competitions.
Also, this Saturday, March 1 takes place in Cartagena Winter Regional Championship Cadet, where three athletes participating club qualified for the semifinals.
They are Mustapha Maarouf, which will make 600 and 3000 meter dash, Pedro Martínez Conesa, 60 meters and launch weight, and Alejandro Martínez Méndez, in the same test.
Jaime Garcia pitches also compete in a youth control 60m hurdles, trying to get close to the minimum in order to go to Spain Track Championships Deck.
