This past Saturday, March 29, Esplanade Erosions Bolnuevo had hosted the regional final Duathlon School Sports program that promotes the general direction of the CARM Physical Activity and Sport in collaboration with the municipalities of the Region.
402 students arrived from different parts of the Murcia geography participated in this event which took place with great success.
After the test, we proceeded to the trophy and medals to the winners of each of the categories, both male and female categories, by Andrew James, Councillor for Sports, Isidro Coy, Councillor for Local Police, Eduardo Segarra, Head of Sports Services CARM, and Miriam Alvarez, representing the Federation of Triathlon in the Region of Murcia.
Among the results obtained by Mazarron athletes, it is noteworthy that the athlete Alejandro Navarro Rodríguez, belonging Mazarrón Athletics Club and was involved with his fellow IES 'Antonio Costa Hellin', won the bronze medal in Junior category.
Precisely in this same category, the institute 'Antonio Hellin' also climbed the podium in third place.
Councillor for Sports, Andrew James, wanted to thank "the fantastic work once again deployed members of Civil Protection, Local Police and Mazarrón Red Cross, who allowed the test desarrollase normally and without incident."
