On Friday March 27 ended in the Municipal Center Employment Initiatives (CIME) the course 'Basic Phytosanitary applicator' for seven days have completed 30 students between farmers, workers and the unemployed.
They have received theoretical and practical content needed to obtain the license applicator of pesticides.
This course enables students to establish the framework for action in order to achieve a sustainable use of pesticides by reducing the risks and effects of the use of pesticides on human health and the environment and promoting integrated pest management and of alternative approaches or techniques such as non-chemical methods.
In addition, this course also allows participants to learn about the application and development of certain regulatory provisions relating to the marketing, use and wise and sustainable use of plant protection products, established by Law 43/2002 of 20 November plant health.
