The International Humanitarian Photography Award 'Luis Valtueña' is held annually in memory of four cooperating killed in Rwanda in 1997 and Bosnia in 1995 when Flors Sirera, Manuel Madrazo, and Mercedes Navarro Luis Valtueña working on humanitarian projects.
Valtueña was a photographer by profession and worked in Spain as a reporter for the 'Agency Cover', which is why this award is named.
