The Department of Culture has prepared a varied cultural program on the occasion of the celebration of 'World Book Day', celebrated every April 23 since 1996 in over one hundred countries.
Activities have been submitted by the Councillor for Culture, Maria Celeste Soria, and the head of Archives and Libraries, Magdalena Campillo.
This year, the program has major new features such as silent films, a solidarity gathering food and even a photo contest, with all totally free activities.

The theme of the photographs must show reading as a leisure activity and reflect the ideal read for its beauty space, peace and quiet ... It can be a landscape, an interior space or any place that encourage the reader to discover reading as an activity play and fun.
