The Department of Culture of the City of Mazarrón, through the Municipal Library Network, has convened the First Photo Contest 'We like to read. "
This event aims to promote plastic and artistic creativity in the area of ​​reading, trying to reflect the world of reading in all its dimensions: human, educational, cultural, recreational, family, social.
Photographs should show reading as a leisure activity and reflect the ideal read for its beauty space, peace and quiet ... It can be a landscape, an interior space or any place that encourage the reader to discover reading as a fun and enjoyable activity .
All enrolled students may participate in the IES of the municipality.
Each student may submit up to three unpublished photographs that have not been selected in any other competition related to the proposed topic.
Photographs must be submitted on paper or digital (pen drive, cd ...) may be in black and white or color, made with any technique.
They should have a minimum size paper of 24 x 30 cm and a maximum of 30 x 40 cm.
Photographs must not be mounted on cardboard or reinforced or with Passepartout;
also may be submitted and must be submitted duly rolled protected.
In digital format should be 8 megs of resolution.
The works will be accompanied by a sealed envelope, to the outside shall bear the pseudonym of the author and titles of the works presented, and inside, the name, address NIF, author phone and email.
On the back of each of the photographs contain the pseudonym of the author and title of the work.
There are 3 major awards;
a first prize of 300 euros degree, second degree 200 euros and 100 euros more third diploma.
These prizes consist of gift vouchers that can be redeemed for items at points designated by the organization.
Also, a certificate of participation to other participants will receive.
The contest will be forfeited if a minimum of 5 works are not presented.
Mazarrón Town Council may publish and expose, if deemed appropriate, the papers presented at the Municipal Library Network.
Until April 28, the work may be in the libraries 'Gómez Jordana' de Mazarrón, located in the Cultural Center of the Burial of the Sardine street;
Library and Puerto de Mazarron on the Costa Calida Avenue.
