The Mazarron athlete Miguel Ortiz, belonging to the Club Deportivo Mazarrón Table Tennis, won the championship of School Children Spain by Autonomous Communities with the Murcia Table Tennis Team in this sport.
Ortiz, Javier Soria and his companions and Javier Valero, gold neck hung after beating in the final selection by the Andalusian 3-1.
All three athletes had to work hard to beat in the semifinals by 3-2 to Valencia Community and by the same score in the quarterfinals representatives of Castilla León, after excelling in the first tournament.
Murcia team coach was José Salinas club IES 'El Palmar' Table Tennis.
Miguel Ortiz will be recognized by the Department of Sports for this achievement today Monday, May 5 at 7 pm in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón.
Also be honored Daniel Garcia, Alberto García and Alberto Morales, who have been champions Spain to Murcia FS Alevín Selection, and athletes and Pablo Mendez Natalia Aznar who excelled in Spain last Winter Championships for the Blind and Visually Impaired categories.
