The classic quintet 'Tangle' offered Monday May 12 in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Mazarrón, the third didactic concert scheduled for 2013-2014 by the Musical Association 'Maestro Eugenio Calderón' in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the City of Mazarrón.

All schools of the municipality and the schools and school Mazarrón 'San Antonio' ​​Cañada de Gallego, attended this event.

The wind quintet 'Tangle', composed of horn, flute, clarinet, bassoon and oboe;

was formed in 2008 within the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, which are part of all its members and activities that combine with teaching because teachers are instrumental in their various specialties.

The quintet offered a predominantly classical program, without neglecting other current compositions and some arrangements and adaptations of pieces for other formations, while showing the loudness of each woodwind instruments and their operation explained with the help a presenter.

Some students had the opportunity to go on stage and blow some of these instruments.

This action closes the cycle of educational concerts scheduled jointly by the Department of Culture, the Musical Association 'Maestro Eugenio Calderón' and music teachers from the schools in the municipality, the true architects of this initiative.

The primary objective of educational concerts was to know the different families of instruments in a practical, fun way.

In the first quarter, the quintet 'Murcia Brass' taught woodwinds-metal;

in the second quarter quintet 'Eliocroca' showed stringed instruments;

and Monday, the quintet 'Tangle' said instruments woodwind family.

The response of the schools in the county has been very positive since all have attended at least one concert and most of the three.

Around 1120 people including students and teachers have participated in this musical cycle.

The public has valued each concert through surveys, the result so far shows a high degree of satisfaction in both students and teachers, so it is very likely that program a new cycle of educational concerts for next year, adding innovations that choosing the different parts.
