Tomorrow Friday 16 May, a new sample arrives at the pictorial exhibition space of the town hall.
This is the exhibition 'Earth furrowed, Mar revived' artist Javier Lorente of Cartagena.
The sample comprised twenty paintings and sketches, will open from 21 am by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, the Councillor for Culture, Maria Celeste Soria, and author of the exhibition itself.
Javier Lorente (San Ginés de La Jara, Cartagena, 1964) is a versatile artist, has developed his career as a painter, photographer and art teacher.
Passionate about travel but always attached to the culture, heritage and landscape of the Campo de Cartagena;
Lorente Mazarrón brings up a series of paintings showing landscapes, not only the coast of Cartagena, but also of our town.
Lorente has painted and exhibited natural throughout Spain, touring the towns and cities with his easel and paints.
In his career include exhibitions as 'the urban nature', 'traveling Body' and 'The Four Elements', who has exhibited at the Contemporary Art Fair of Bolzano (Italy);
and the first prize in the National Competition of Outdoor Painting 'Landscapes of Mazarrón Memorial Domingo Valdivieso', whose jury also presided over last year.
