The Youth Council of the City of Mazarrón will bet on the sport orientation in nature with a workshop introduction to this sport and a 'local races' to be held in the town, taking advantage of the breathtaking landscapes and beautiful landscapes that have Mazarrón.
This was announced yesterday by the mayor of Youth, Andrew James, and technical area, Francisco Saez.
The latter explained that "from youth work to meet the objectives 'ERYICA', among which include training, youth employability, mobility, personal autonomy and integration."
Orienteering in nature is an activity "because it is very complete in line with these objectives and also promotes caring for the environment and it is a healthy practice that exercise."
Thus, "from 24 May to 7 June, will conduct a workshop for beginners orienteering in nature aimed at young people between 14 and 35 who want to start in this practice," said Andrew James , adding that "this activity is free and will serve as a starting point for those wishing to participate in the 'local races' to celebrate the 14, 21 and 28 June under the title' Know your people with orienteering '".
The workshop will enable participants to learn about the history of the sport orientation, materials for practical sport, how an orienteering race develops, mapping and surveying programs for configuring planes of orientation, meet the basic symbolism of a plane , to know what they are and what they contours, and management know the parts of a compass, how to interpret a map and develop a response to route guidance throughout your organization.
Young people can use this knowledge to 'local races' that "pordrán make all those wishing to participate because the idea is that in addition to youth, activity can be shared with family or a group of friends who can cope with this sport, "Saez said.

The Mayor of Mazarrón Ginés Campillo has encouraged all young people to "get started in this sport because, besides being a good health exercise, is very funny and often engage anyone who begins to practice."
