New medals for table tennis and athletics Mazarron (03/06/2014)

The Sports Table Tennis Club Mazarrón has achieved excellent results in the Regional Championships of this sport have been held last weekend in the town of Totana.

During the appointment trophies club teams where Mazarron got the 1st runner Autonomic recently reached were also awarded.

During the tournament excelled Juan Francisco Lopez regional champion at the Benjamin category after winning the final against Alejandro Lopez de Totana by 3 sets to 1. In the same category, Benito González fell in the quarterfinals and Christian Catevilla could not pass group.

Juan Francisco Lopez also played the Alevín category, finding himself felled in the quarterfinals.

In the Children's category, Miguel Ortiz and Manuel González reached the semifinals, achieving the bronze medal.

Antonio Fernández did not pass group and Juan Manuel Miguel Navarro yielded to a duel between Mazarron players in round knockout.

In Junior category, Navarro and Ortiz were defeated in the second round and quarterfinals respectively.

Also, the last 24 and 25 May was held at the track in Cartagena, Combined Regional Championship.

In juveniles, Mazarron Sleeps Jaime got a well deserved third place in the test Decathlon, in a very close competition, behind athletes School San Javier, Lorenzo Martinez and Pablo Diaz, UCAM Cartagena.

Jaime got a mark of 4,896 points.

In this sport, the past weekend was held in Murcia Regional Championship Open Air in categories Benjamin and Alevín and in which two females Athletics Club Mazarrón climbed the podium.

One was Marta Navarro Caballero who was runner-up in 2000 in category ML Benjamin and also managed a creditable 4th place in 1000 ML

The other athlete a medal hung around his neck was Ana Isabel Navarro who won silver at the Benjamin test 50 ML In this same category, Natalia Aznar was 4th in 500 ML, 6th in 50 ML and 9th in Long Jump.

In Fry, Miriam Sáez was 4th in Ball Throw and 8th in Long Jump and height, Carlos Navarro was 5th in the javelin and Irene Lorente 8th in Ball Throw.
