The beach of La Reya, also known as 'Big Bay', has welcomed this morning the regional final of Beach Volleyball School Sports program that promotes the general direction of Youth and Sports of the CARM in collaboration with the municipalities in the region of Murcia.
27 teams from different schools have gathered in that beach to play a thrilling final that ended with the presentation of trophies and medals by the Councillor for Sports, Andrew James, and the CEO of Youth and Sports, Antonio Penalver.
In category Alevín Joint, the champion was the CEIP 'Cierva Peñafiel' of Murcia, while the runner-up team was the school 'Antonio Ulloa' Cartagena.
In third place have been the CEIP 'Infanta Leonor' de Mazarrón and school 'Our Lady of Loreto' San Javier.
Councilman Andrew James congratulated Mazarron school for their participation in this sports day and he was "very satisfied" with their development and organization, which has received congratulations from representatives of the Autonomous Community also thanked the work done in the regional finals also School Sport modes pitch, duathlon and triathlon.
In Child Female category champions were the members of the IES 'Antonio Costa Menárguez' Los Alcazares, followed in second position of young school 'San Jose' de Murcia.
Completed the podium institutes 'Alfonso Escámez' and Eagles 'Mediterranean' of Cartagena, in third and fourth respectively.
In Child Male category, the winner was the college 'Mother of God' of Lorca, being runner-up the IES 'Isaac Peral' Cartagena.
Were ranked third components IES 'Specification' and fourth have been young IES 'Antonio Costa Menárguez' Los Alcazares.
Precisely in category Female Cadet, IES 'Antonio Costa Menárguez' has risen to the top of the podium.
Its members have been accompanied institute 'Miguel de Cervantes' of Murcia, who was second in this category, IES 'San Isidro' Cartagena, who was third, and the institute 'King Carlos III' of Eagles in fourth place .
In Cadet Male, the champion was the IES 'Mediterranean' Cartagena, followed in second place in the institute 'King Carlos III' of Eagles.
In third position has been the IES 'Antonio Costa Menárguez' fourth and IES 'Specification'.
In Junior Women's category, the champion was the school 'Holy Family' of Cartagena, followed by IES 'Sangonera' de Murcia who was second and the institute 'King Carlos III' of Eagles in third.
Finally, as Men's Junior has set the IES 'Antonio Costa Menárguez' while school 'Europe' of Eagle has been runner.
The IES 'Isaac Peral' Cartagena and IES 'Specification', who finished third and fourth respectively, have completed the final podium of the regional final for the second consecutive year was held in the town.
