Mazarrón Town Council and now 'Telefonica' have signed an agreement to make a smart Mazarrón municipality, in regards to the New Telecommunications.
This progress was reflected last Tuesday in a signed between the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the regional director of 'Telefónica' Angel Lloret, with which the municipality will become a national leader in 'Smartcities', incorporating technological solutions generation that will manage so many telematics services and interconnect different areas.
The agreement will allow the City to improve communications with its citizens, facilitating and promoting telematics management or managing more effectively and efficiently and power consumption issues.
In addition, citizens also benefit immediately disposing of 4G technology in certain areas (3G and enjoy all the town) and higher speed in managing the Mazarron council whose bandwidth becomes 2 mb 100 mb.
The regional director of Telefónica, Angel Lloret said after the signing that "Mazarrón has the challenge of integrating e-management of their municipal services and to address this task successfully from 'Telephone' will make available resources and the necessary technology. "
Lloret, also assessed positively the signing of this agreement which will make the Murcia town in "an intelligent ecosystem that provide its managers do more with less."
Among the advantages of incorporating this technology, Campillo and Lloret agreed that ensures the sustainability of resources, real-time reporting of any incident and manage solutions immediately.
Safety is another advantage of this technology as the City Council will have a permanent backup in the cloud, which would allow the council to access all information and communication, for example, should not court disaster.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, stressed that "this is a bet to make Mazarrón at the technological forefront, improving communications, our ability to manage the session and also the administration closer to the citizen."
The mayor added that "we are sowing good seed to convert Mazarrón a 'smartcity' and, as always, with funds from the municipal coffers as our healthy habit."
