Visitors to our beaches this summer at six different points behold a distinctive speaking of environmental quality place to meet.
Mazarron will this summer with six blue banners, one more than last year.
This Wednesday, June 25, these awards were presented by the Ministry of Tourism in the Real Club Nautico de Santiago de la Ribera.
The councilor Coastal Services, Miguel Garcia, received from the Minister of Tourism, Juan Carlos Ruiz, these awards.
The beaches that enjoy this distinctive are the Rihuete, Harbor, Bay-La Reya, Nares, Castellar and Alamillo.
To receive the Blue Flag have had to meet the standards set for quality of bathing water, information, environmental management and safety, in addition to necessary services and facilities.
The blue flags will be flown on 4 July during a formal ceremony to be held at the Paseo del Castellar, next to the Hotel Playa Grande.
Also, the coast of Mazarrón repeated this year in number of flags with the qualification of Q for Quality Tourism.
The beaches that have earned these flags are Bahia, Castellar, Bolnuevo, La Reya and Nares.
I would emphasize, in particular, Castellar beach as well as this recognition also has the distinction of Ecoplaya.
