On Sunday July 6 the band "Maestro Eugenio Calderón" Mazarrón initiated II Musical summers "Villa de Mazarrón" 2014. Around four hundred people gathered in the Port of Mazarrón to hear the first concert of this cycle that opened Councillor for Culture, Ginés Campillo.
The band of Mazarrón delighted the audience with an elaborate and carefully prepared program expressly for the occasion.
He began the concert with the paso doble "Evocation", followed by two suites of several movements for band.
The second part consisted of different arrangements for band very famous pieces like Rocky or "West Side Story" and ended with a medley of boleros.
As a farewell, the band played the third movement of "Os pássaros do brasil".
The audience, which began to take their seats an hour before the concert with limited capacity and was concentrated around the stage, clapped heartily each of the pieces at the end of a concert masterfully directed and performed by the band hosted music.
This Saturday, July 12, the band's music "Musical Union San Pedro del Pinatar" will offer the second concert in the marina half past nine at night.
