With a somewhat lower than last year's second edition itinerary Summer Carnival Puerto de Mazarrón that hopes to repeat the success of last year is presented.
This was stated by Councilman Celebration, Isidro Coy, who announced that "the council will install bleachers at the points of the route where you can concentrate more public."
During the presentation, Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, remarked "the work from Celebrations has been done since the beginning of the legislature to implement a full program of activities which also performs Tourism and Culture and with which achieved diversify leisure, to show that Mazarrón is more than sun and sand. "
Thirty troupes participate this time, two more than in the previous edition.
The top four will be rewarded financially.
The first prize is worth 1200 euros, the second 900, the third 600 and fourth prize of 300 euros.
The Dance School of Mazarrón Antonio Jara open a parade involving seven other troupes of village.
A jury of at least five people marked out the participation of the criteria set by the organization among which is the colorful, elegance, choreography and originality.
Last year more than a thousand people concentrated on the seafront of Puerto de Mazarrón to enjoy the Summer Carnival.
