Understand the values ​​and problems of the marine environment as a starting point to address environmental education programs is one of the main objectives of the course at the International University of Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum "Environmental education and designing itineraries for underwater and preserve the marine environment ", to be held at the Cultural Center of Mazarrón between 22 and 24 July.

The course will show participants diverse experiences of environmental education projects related to the marine environment and analyze the resources of the Region of Murcia to develop environmental education activities related to the marine environment.

The course, with the guidance of Professor at the University of Murcia José Antonio Charton, will be taught by biologists, and with the participation of volunteers in various scientific programs, including participants in conservation prairies of oceanic Posidonia divers and the Hippocampus project.

The activity has a duration of 25 hours, and those who enroll in it shall be entitled to 2.5 free elective credit or CRAU ECTS-credits.
