On Saturday July 26th a magnificent concert of the band "The Muses" Guadalupe closed the second edition of Musical summers "Villa de Mazarrón" 2014.
The interesting and vast repertoire of night began with pretty paso doble "Cock" and ended with "flamenquilla" a string composed by José Ibáńez Barrachina, director of guest band, and which made a masterful performance Juanjo soloists Beltran Victor Leal and Daniel Lopez as trumpets and flamenco drawer.
Before interpreting this work the director and author of it made the audience a brief introduction, while took the opportunity to thank the invitation to this concert series, an activity that the band of Guadalupe has been framed in the commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary celebrating this year.
Besides the public could enjoy the popular zarzuela "Water, sugar and brandy" Chueca "Pilatus, Mountain of dragons" a work of great dynamic contrasts with different instruments alone, or the third movement of "Fantastic Dances" teacher Turina besides "Conga new fire", "Carnival in Sao Paulo" and the paso doble "Lagartijilla".
The Councillor for Culture, Ginés Campillo Méndez, after the traditional delivery of memories, congratulated the band "The Muses" for his performance, and before it closed with a lively mambo, closed the Musical Summers cycle thanking all the bands participating and dedicating a few words of praise and appreciation to the members of the Musical Association "Maestro Eugenio Calderón", "true organizers" of this concert series.
So finish the second "Musical summers" that opened the band of Mazarrón on Sunday July 6 and have been developed throughout the month with great public success in each of the concerts, signal high satisfaction and acceptance of this recreational and cultural activities.
