The full City Council on Tuesday approved Mazarrón, in ordinary budgets of 2014 by 13 votes in favor (PSOE, UIDM, IU, Parema) and 8 against (PP).
The unanimous approval came in a joint motion, initiated by Councilman IU-Green, David Fernandez and finally ratified by all groups in relation to a proposal for measures to offset the damage that is causing the drought, mainly to crops rainfed, but also to irrigation, the most affected crop almonds.
Izquierda Unida spokesman asked the importance of urging regional and state executives to approve a National Drought Decree.
The city also gave its approval, unanimously, to the point agenda which included the proposed Town Planning, Ginés Campillo, final approval of the Partial Plan S-05 Sector-01 Bolnuevo.
