The Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, has announced a compensation of 25% in IBI for families in 2013 have not obtained certain income depending on the number of members that make up this Friday.
As an example, a family with two members and that during the year 2013 has not reached a gross income of 11,928.22 euros will be compensated with the announced 25% if only one member, the limit is set at 9691 euros.
The measure is one of the promises made by the mayor, Francisco Garcia, during his inaugural speech last June 11 and has been formalized once it has received the approval of the Governing Board.
The announcement comes published today in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, so that families have until 30 days to proceed with the application.
The information is posted on the municipal website and on the bulletin board of City Hall.
The Mayor also announced that a special unit staffed by an officer to this effect will be enabled.
This approval is intended to compensate the current situation faced by some families.
