About 200 students from eight subjects in the degree of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) performed at specific sites of Mazarrón their academic projects during this course, through visits, events and conferences thanks to the initiative of teaching innovation architecture ON, which It was presented today at the Higher Technical School of Architecture and Building Engineering, and the agreement between the educational institution and the Mazarron town hall this morning signed the rector José Antonio Franco and Mayor Francisco García.
Throughout the course, students proyectuales eight subjects in the final year of the degree work on specific locations in the town of Mazarrón and issues of interest to the City.
"Obviously school work are selected by us and which only aims to stimulate debate in the town, without replacing any municipal project," says project leader Professor Mark Ros.
"Throughout the course, eight subjects will do activities in a coordinated manner as the initial presentation, visits to mazarrón, a week of activities and conferences in November, exposure assessment and joint work of the first semester in January and so on culminating in the publication of a book with the best works of each subject and a summer course in July to disseminate the results, "explains Ros, who will lead a project to be involved thirteen other teachers of the School of Architecture and Building Engineering UPCT.
The architecture ON project has been presented to all students and faculty of the School after weeks of uncertainty generated by a campaign of posters that has not been disclosed until now.
