It is the regional meeting organized XXVII Radio Emergency Network Murcia.
It consists of amateur volunteers working with the Government Delegation in emergency situations such as fire or flood and events that move masses of people and usually some of the most important festivities of the regional calendar.
Divided into seven zones, Mazarrón belongs to number 4 with Librilla, Aledo, Totana and Alhama.
This year our town is responsible for hosting this traditional meeting.
Throughout the morning of Sunday October 5 over a hundred amateur conducted a day of living.
They will be received by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco García, visit the Roman Factory Salted and enjoy a boat ride on the bay.
Later proceed to the annual delivery of diplomas that will be attended by the Government Delegate in Murcia, Joaquín Bascuñana.
This event will take place at a popular restaurant of our coast.
The presentation of this meeting was held on Friday in the presence of local representative Radio Emergency Rafael Peral and the head of Civil Protection Mazarrón, Pedro Arias.
With them he wanted to be mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, who thanked the work being done, over the years, and completely altruistic radio amateurs.
The mayor "is obliged to give due recognition to these volunteers always shown its full readiness."
