For the fifteenth consecutive year, the Association of Friends of Nature and the City of Mazarrón commemorate World Bird Day.
Throughout Spain there are over 200 events organized this year to celebrate this date and seven of them are made in the Region of Murcia.
Mazarrón not miss this event which seeks to communicate a greater respect for ecosystems.
A stand next to the weekly market of Mazarrón has served to house a display of falconry.
The public has checked the flight and movement of selected birds.
Children have participated in workshops in drawing and cutouts and after passing through the booth received a commemorative shirt gift of this day.
Leading this activity, as every year, Rafael Peral has been responsible for the Association of Friends of Nature, who pointed out that there are currently more than 1,300 endangered birds.
