The mayor takes the visit of the new Minister of Public Works to overtake the demand for other infrastructure such as the widening of the road between Mazarrón and Port and the construction of a roundabout access to the Sports Complex
Members of the two administrations have officially inaugurated the second phase of the refurbishment of the RM-D4 road linking the hamlet Lorca Mazarrón Morata.
A total of 13 kilometers on which acted (8 belonging to Lorca and Mazarrón 5).
The budget of this conditioning was around 900,000 euros.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, expressed his satisfaction at the completion of the work as it is an old demand of the citizens of Mazarrón.
Francisco Garcia expressed his gratitude to the Autonomous Community and that despite the economic difficulties has managed to repair and make good a road that has a traffic 1630 vehicles per day.
The mayor, questions from the media, has advanced to request the new director other claims as the widening of the road between Mazarrón with the port and construction giving access to the Sports Complex.
The works of the RM-D4 have included the construction of a new road surface with hot asphalt, cleaning and gutter margins, improving drainage and renewal of signaling.
In the institutional visit, with the mayor and the counselor have been other board members of the Ministry of Public Works and Government team of the City of Mazarrón, and other councilors of the municipal corporation and the deputy Alicia Jiménez.
