Mazarrón has come alive with fervor the day of its patron, the Immaculate Conception with traditional religious ceremonies.
Hundreds of people showed their devotion on this date that brings together families and neighbors around the image of the Virgin.
The events began at 9 am at a hospice with a Mass celebrated by the parish priest of San Andres and San Antonio, Julio Romero Fernández.
The Franciscan Sisters of asylum, responsible for its organization, were also in charge of the choir.
Among those present were the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, Deputy Mayor, Ginés Campillo and the President of Mazarrón Red Cross, Carmen Navarro.
Precisely volunteers of this NGO, which celebrates its 150 national anniversary and 116 years locally, made a wreath to the image of the Virgin.
