About 200 students from eight subjects in the degree of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) being carried out in various locations Mazarrón different academic projects during this course, through visits, activities and conferences within the ArquitecturaON project.
The next 14 to 15 January will present the results of their studies during the first semester within the space #ONfest umbrella workshops, lectures, performances, demonstrations and debates by involving students, teachers and professionals.
ArquitecturaON is a teaching innovation project coordinated by Professor Marcos Ros and intended for students in third, fourth and fifth grade of Architecture.
It involves 14 teachers throughout the course 2014/2015 have been working alongside his students a new way of thinking and understanding architecture shaping their theoretical overview in different areas of our community who have been selected by the teachers in collaboration with the City of Mazarrón.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, expressed his satisfaction for being Mazarrón the town that opens this innovative project.
In addition to the mayor of Mazarrón "It is an initiative that can contribute ideas at a time like the present where we are in process of analyzing the General Plan. Mazarrón is a tourist, agricultural and important mining tradition municipality and would to integrate these three elements. "
