Eduardo Balguerías, director of the Institute of Oceanography (IEO) and Francisco Garcia, Mayor of Mazarrón, Spanish Wednesday signed a collaboration agreement which reinforces the close work that both organizations have been developing since the 90's signing took place Plant in Mazarrón Mariculture, the most important fish intended for the four that comprise the IEO.
This was highlighted Balguerías that with the mayor and other members of the municipal corporation visited the facilities of this plant, which is also carried out a research study focused on seagrass.
But perhaps the most ambitious project is the one whose works are nearing completion and will be released finally in May or June.

These eggs will be taken to the plant Mariculture of Mazarrón until you reach the juvenile tunas size, which usually occurs within 40 days.
From there the juveniles are taken to sea cages for fattening ownership of the business which later gives commercial use.
