The candidate for President of the Community, Rafael González Tovar, has ratified, during a visit to Mazarron, Socialist Party's commitment to job creation in the region of Murcia by a Special Employment Plan designed to provide an opportunity to find work especially people over 45 years.
Tovar stressed that, of the 80,000 people in the region for over two years without work, which in most cases do not receive any benefits because there are more than 30,000 who are older than 45 years, which have much it harder to gain employment.
Socialist leader finds it intolerable that there are currently 20,000 families in which not enter any income, and who are therefore on the verge of social exclusion.
"It's a challenge to answer this tremendous problem, the region has great potential, and together we can work to reinstate the thousands of people and social protection circuit unemployment."
In Mazarrón, González Tovar has visited small shops in the town, and reiterated the Socialist position on the need for investment by the regional government to prevent the fall of more SMEs and freelancers in the sector.
"Small businesses, local shops, is a source of regional wealth, a very important piece of economic activity, and we must defend it because it creates jobs and boosts the economy," stressed Tovar, who recalled that " socialists we have been carrying out advocacy campaigns retail, as there is a total lack of institutional support from the regional government of the PP ".
Moreover, González Tovar stressed the added value of tourism to job creation in our community, and that, in his opinion, is poorly promoted, so that "it is necessary to make a regional tourism plan to put in value the great tourist potential of our region. "
