Francisco Garcia, Mayor of Mazarrón, presented on Tuesday the new municipal tourism website registered under the domain www.visitamazarron.es.
This new portal has been remodeled in response to changes in the regional portal, seeks to promote tourism experience and highlights the many activities that can be performed outdoors in Mazarrón.
Enriched with beautiful images, made mostly by John S. Calventus, seeks to attract users also providing the navigation simple and intuitive elements.
"The idea has been to highlight the range of experiential tourism is our town and sets us apart from other coastal towns. Tourism has changed because so have people. It has gone from a greater seasonality in the sun and beach were sufficient, to a need to experiment, to have a different activity to do. Mazarrón has much to contribute and 35 miles of shoreline go far, offering beautiful routes for hiking, cycling or for diving or whale watching "said Francisco Garcia during the presentation.
The new website also serves as a useful tool also for local businesses when marketing your product, whether accommodation, catering companies or activities.
The site also reserves an important space to beaches and services offered with images of them all and a special mention of the awards and recognitions at their disposal.
This was highlighted by the Councillor for Tourism, Celeste Soria, who has valued the quality experienced after improvement of this website.
