The high number of sporting events that houses our town and run by non-urban areas required a more rapid and effective emergency services intervention.
This is the main reason that the Department of Civil Protection has proceeded to the purchase of two motociclestas 250cc trail at a cost of six thousand euros each.
The goal is to "provide more agile to less accessible areas that will be available also for other preventive vehicles," said the mayor Miguel García Incarnation.
With these new vehicles will further strengthen the monitoring of forest fires and may be used to search for missing persons.
Both motorcycles, the Kawasaki brand, are provided with a first aid kit in order to ensure faster care, as stated by the head of municipal emergency services, Pedro Arias.
