A simple picture of the passage of The Flagellation with the aim focused on carving of Jesus at the Pillar is the image that is used this year to announce the arrival times of Lent Holy Week in Mazarrón.
The poster is the work of Jordi Silva and was designed by Juan Francisco Martinez.
The photograph is made with natural light and its realization has not been necessary to employ a sophisticated technical equipment.
The author thanked the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre during the presentation ceremony held in the church of La Purisima de Mazarrón.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia and the Councillor for Culture, Ginés Campillo well as managers of Council of Guilds Mazarrón and Puerto members.
Francisco García Mazarron encouraged to live the Holy Week in the same way as do the brothers brothers who encouraged them to continue working as they have done in recent years.
"It is not merely a religious event, but also an expression of our heritage that speaks well of their celebrations faithful and committed to their traditions."
Meanwhile the mayor of Culture said that "we already in a special for those who are Christians and also cofrades time."
Ginés Campillo mentioned the important role played by the various guilds to bring faith to other citizens.
The event was closed by the parish priest of the Church of San Andres and San Antonio, Julio Romero, who asked Mazarron having Christ always present, even at Easter because the figure of Jesus without any manifestation loses its logic.
Poster presentation Easter Mazarrón 2015 was attended by councilors of Youth, Tourism, Festivities and Rural Development, Andrew James, Celeste Soria, Isidro Coy and Magdalena Mendez.
