The Basque rider Egoitz Fernández was the first to cross the finish line at the Avenida de la Constitución de Mazarrón after completion in just over two hours travel the 116 kilometers of the second and final stage of the Vuelta I Costa Calida.

The podium of the stage was composed of the Euskadi Foundation Egoitz Fernández, Carlos Jiménez Caja Rural and Russian Dimitry Strakhov Lokomotiv.
Indeed, the latter the yellow jersey credited first overall and champion of the first edition of the Tour Costa Calida is holstered.
Gabriel Reguero Mutua Levante the win in the classification of the mountain and Juan José Tamayo Rodriguez Bicycle Goal Flyers, while Antonio Jesús Soto del Telcom emerged as best rider from Murcia.
The award for best team went to the Spaniard Contador set Specialized Foundation.
