This Saturday March 7th Cultural Center hosted the VI Congress of Women, organized, this time, by the departments of Equality and Culture event.
The opening of the conference was given by the mayor, Francisco Garcia who wanted to highlight some points in the joint institutional motion passed at the last full City.
The Mayor called for equality between men and women committed to the breakdown of the wage gap.
"All men and women are entitled to equal develop our vital project and equality is just arriving, freely, to where one wants both professionally and personally," said Francisco Garcia.
The first presentation was conducted by the technique of Equality CEPAIM Ardil Isabel Moreno Foundation under the title "inclusive language".
Then it was the turn for the development of a new talk Cycle Women's Leadership involving Manuela Marín, president of OMEP, Carmen Botella, businesswoman, Antonia Grin of Tessal and Luisa Dólera, Treasurer of OMEP.
The roundtable "Youth in times of crisis" and the presentation of María Dolores Abellán of UGT entitled "Gender inequality in the labor market" closed the event with the presence of councilors of Culture, Equality, Services, Tourism and Development Rural, Ginés Campillo, María Martínez, Juan Miguel Muñoz, Celeste Soria and Magdalena Méndez respectively.
With traditional group photo and delivery of a detail of the participants was finished this VI Congress of Women Mazarrón.
