City of Mazarrón and Ecologists in Action have signed a collaboration agreement to close the relationship between this association and the consistory Mazarron.
This signature has been signed by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco García, Councillor for Environment, David Fernández, President of Ecologists in Action, Ana Maria Garcia and Ruben Vives treasurer.
Mutual agreements work have narrowed over the past four years thanks to the participation of Ecologists in Action in various awareness campaigns carried out from the Department of Environment, especially in the development of the Conference on Environmental Issues.
Also, Ecologists in Action advises, today, in the preparation of Land-use planning.
Environmentalists and City Council are studying the incorporation of the consistory in the project carried out by the association in sampling and monitoring thighed tortoise population in the Region of Murcia.
