Pedro Cano has inaugurated Saturday the exhibition "Fish" in the Town of Mazarrón.
A collection of 24 watercolors fruit a day to school in the fishing port organized by the Department of Culture.
The painter Blanca Mazarrón again to offer his unique tribute to the sea.
At the opening has been accompanied by the mayor of Culture, Ginés Campillo for whom it is "another great exhibition at Town Hall, and in line with recent years."
The show also has religious significance which is reflected in its title "IXOYE", Greek for "Fish".
The five letters of this word corresponds to the initial serving to identify the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Son and Savior.
The fish was the symbol of the early Christians and Cano has managed to link their work to the Christian spirit, and is also complimented by the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Jose Manuel Lorca Planes and Italian Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi.
The collection of 24 watercolors is reflected in a catalog of great beauty, by Jose Luis Montero, offered for sale for the price of 30 euros which will go to Caritas and Puerto de Mazarrón.
Culture offers stakeholders a hundred catalogs can be purchased at the town hall of Mazarrón, hosting the exhibition of Pedro Cano until May 4th from 10am to 14 hours and 17-20 hours Monday Friday and 10-14 hours on Saturdays.
