As usual each Good Friday the Church of San José de Mazarron was dressed up to host the initial act of Holy Week.
The event featured a special guest, singer Curro Piñana Cartagena played several songs with the master Tornero and accompanied at the end by the local band Maestro Eugenio Calderón to the delight of those present.
Following the intervention of the President of Council of Guilds, Francisco Muñoz Osuna and Jose de la Cruz Sanchez was the turn for the title of the act, the preacher of this year Balance Antonio González, director of La Voz de Mazarrón.
Balance Antonio offered a sober proclamation in which he reviewed his life and career as well as his relationship with the Easter Mazarron.
Balance is, at present, vocal and acting president of the Virgin Brotherhood of Solitude.
The Councillor for Culture Ginés Campillo was commissioned to present to the person that has been awarded this year's tribute to Nazareno of the Year, Aurora del Olmo.
This Burgos based in Mazarrón was very grateful for the recognition and had special words for the people who worked in the parish.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, used his speech to encourage residents of Puerto de Mazarrón for these days off the streets and enjoy their processions, inviting family and friends to live them the same way they do brothers brothers .

Meanwhile, Bartolomé Muñoz received recognition at Nazareno Year, very committed person and linked to the Easter Mazarron.
Muñoz is a fisherman's family "jaloque", also belonging to the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre, responsible for organizing this year the events of Holy Week Mazarrón.
Its president, Magdalena Campillo, received from the preacher the gold badge of his group for their work in recent years.
