On 25 February the City of Mazarrón received notification of the Electoral Census Office, under the Provincial Electoral Board, which indicated that due to the crush of voters that could occur in the polling station located at People's University It is proposed to amend the polling place for two tables of section 10, displacing the social center in Camposol, located ten kilometers from Mazarrón.
In this notification the City responded by alleging that should not transfer the above tables and forcing the displacement of many voters thus generating significant inconvenience, offering the consistory Mazarron given to creating necessary measures to try to avoid crowds.
However, the Electoral Census Office, maintained its position and placed the tables given in Camposol.
On April 8 the City offered an alternative proposal to avoid agglomeration problems indicated by the Electoral Board.
The council requested the location of those tables in the Health Center Mazarrón (separated from the VHS for just ten meters).
This proposal was rejected by the Office of the Provincial Electoral Census Board and obliges neighboring core Mazarrón cited in these tables to move to that urbanization to vote.
Having exhausted all avenues Consistory undertakes to provide free public transport for citizens to exercise their right to vote.
