All set to start Saturday in Puerto de Mazarrón the XXVI edition of the National Triathlon Fuente Alamo.
The appointment is at 17:00 hours on the beach Rihuete.
Nearly a thousand participants will begin a test that will have to complete 750 meters swim, 24-kilometer bike and five kilometer race walk up to Fuente Alamo.
Mazarrón City Council is one of the institutional partners in organizing a major event inthe national calendar and has had as victors athletes the likes of Ivan Raña and Javier Gomez Noya, champion in the last edition.
Triathletes compete in both male and female category and differentiated according to age groups.
Five outings will be held with the participation also of a group of paratriathlon.
The test will be timed with chips and controlled by the Committee of Judges Triathlon Murcia with the implementation of competition regulations of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.
After leaving the beach Rihuete triathletes will head cycling to Isla Plana and La Azohía to keep track of Los Ruices, Tallante, shovels and Fuente Alamo.
