A total of 143 people left the unemployment rolls in Mazarrón during the month of April, according to the latest statistical report by the Regional Confederation of Organizations of Cartagena (COEC).
It is the second largest decline in the region, after San Pedro del Pinatar.
In relative terms, Mazarrón also offered the second best thing to a reduction in unemployment of 5.8% compared to March, half points better than the regional average was estimated at a drop of 3.3%.
By sectors and in absolute terms the largest decrease in unemployment in April was in services, agriculture and construction.

In this period unemployment has fallen in Mazarrón 8.1%, the second best thing after Fuente Alamo and improving in almost three points the regional average.
The decline in unemployment in the last month is the best figure recorded in Mazarrón before 2007, year in which he began to prepare their reports the Regional Confederation of Organizations of Cartagena (COEC).
The approximate rate of registered unemployment is at 21%.
For the Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, this is very positive data that speak of good policies being carried out in the municipality.
"April is usually a good month for Easter, but the dynamics of decline is continuing for months and that speaks in favor of work being done in this City," said Francisco Garcia.
